The Chase fans blasted the show's "harsh" treatment of a player on today's programme.

Simon in seat one swiftly progressed to the Final Chase with £7,000 after an impressive performance.
Carly was second to face the Chaser and built up £4,000 in her cash-builder.
However, viewers following the show thought she was unfairly denied an extra £1,000 in the round.
Bradley asked: "Emilia Clarke watched videos of Hitler to prepare for the final episode of what TV series?"
The 27-year-old answered "Games of Throne", but she wasn't awarded the cash as it slightly differed from the correct answer of Game of Thrones.
The host clarified why he couldn't give the point, but viewers on Twitter thought the response was close enough to the hit HBO series.
Liam said: "Can’t accept Games of Thrones because it’s Game of Thrones. Come on, that’s ridiculous."
Harris added: "Harsh on Carly of “Games of Throne”"
Alan posted: "Give her Game of Thrones"
Jack tweeted; "“Can’t accept Games of Thrones”"
Autumn commented; "Can’t accept Games Of Throne - it’s so obvious what she meant although I suppose if you start letting things go then you’re creating a precedent"
Carly did not progress to the final after she was caught by the Sinnerman in a close head-to-head.
Simon and Steph both booked their place in the last round and left with £9,000 after a nail-biting finish.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITV Hub
