ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh floored by what contestant keeps in her living room

Bradley Walsh was shocked when a contestant revealed what she kept in her living room on The Chase.

The ITV quiz show host welcomed four new players - Ben, Anne, Esther and Tony - to go head to head with the chaser. Tonight, they tested their wits against Jenny Ryan in a hope to go home somewhat richer.

Anne, a retired customer assistant, had Bradley gobsmacked when she revealed what she planned to spend any winnings on. The player admitted that she had a rather unusual pet that she kept in her living room.

Bradley asked: "If you win any money today what are you going to do with it?" Anne replied: "Buy a bigger snake tank."

The host looked taken aback as he asked: "How big or how much is a snake tank?" She replied: "It depends on the size of the snake. The one I've got at the moment is about 3ft long and it's half land and half water. But I'd like to get a 4ft tank so they can have a bit of a bigger swimming pool."

Bradley was intrigued as he said: "Yeah? Wow. Do you just keep it in your lounge?" Anne replied: "Yeah, it's just on the table in the lounge."

Brad's eyebrows went up in surprise. He added: "Alright. It's all different and good to me."

Anne went on to get £5,000 in the cash builder round. After speaking to her team, she decided to opt for the middle offer. Unfortunately, she was caught by the chaser and went home with nothing.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITV Hub
