ITV The Chase fans floored as player shares what she does for a living

The Chase fans were taken aback when a contestant revealed her day job during Thursday's episode.

Bradley Walsh once again welcomed four new players on this week's first instalment of the popular ITV programme. They were Lawrence, Tracey, Anthony and Hayley.

Each returned to the table with cash, meaning they entered the final round as a four-strong team with a potential £22,000 to play for.

Up against the Governess, each had their hearts set on taking home money, to travel, invest or even to buy a new record player. But one contestant's job left viewers at home shocked.

Introducing herself to Bradley, Hayley, from Lancashire, explained she works as a luxury travel consultant. Bradley said: "Oh hello! So you do all the high end stuff like the Maldives?"

And when he asked her if she gets to travel for work herself, she said: "We do get a lot of, educationals they call them, but I'm scared of flying".

Viewers at home were taken aback by her admission. Taking to Twitter, Samantha said: "Works in travel but is scared of flying??!!".

Mr Chambers said: "Travel consultant but doesn't like flying!". Jessica said: "Imagine being a travel agent with free jollies but being scared of flying. What a bummer".
