ITV The Chase Bradley Walsh explains way he 'beat the chasers' with cheeky prank

Bradley Walsh burst into fights of laughter as he revealed how he played a hilarious prank on ITV's the Chase.

Bradley joined Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on This Morning today to talk about the return of Beat the Chasers.

The 61-year-old gameshow host was asked by Alison whether he would like to take on the Chasers himself or if he'd ever tried to go up against them during a rehearsal.

Bradley said: "No I didn't, but I'll tell you what I did do; when we first did the office run through back in the day I said 'I can beat the Chasers.'

"We had two Chasers at the time Shaun Wallace and Mark Labbett, and I said 'I can beat these no problem at all, I've got loads of general knowledge.'

"They said 'well if you can then you've got the job.'

"Basically what I did was I could see through the table this sheet with the questions and the answers on and I thrashed them. And I said see it's easy."

Bradley was left in stitches after recalling what happened while Alison and Dermot also burst out laughing.

Beat the Chasers will be back on our screens on Saturday, when for the first time ever contestants will have the opportunity to face all six Chasers.

Quizzers will come up against Mark ‘the Beast’ Labbett, Anne ‘the Governess’ Hegerty, Shaun ‘the Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan, Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha and Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis.

And in a new twist, this series will see hundreds of thousands of pounds on offer in ‘Super Offers’.

Only available to those who ace the cash builder round, ‘Super Offers’ are made to those who answer all five questions correctly.
