Holly Willoughby was forced to alert TV bosses that insects had escaped their tanks before the show went live.
The 39-year-old was joined by co-hot Phillip Schofield at the top of the show where they explained how a collection of ants had made a break for it before they went live.
Holly said: "I alerted people, I was looking into each and they were all there, and then I was like 'oh hang on'."

The empty tank had contained seven ants, and the ITV team were working hard to recover them using bits of the This Morning script pages to scoop up the renegade insects.
Phil confirmed that four had been captured and joked how Holly's skills in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! had come in handy at identifying the ants.

The insects are part of a segment for later in the show when they will look at all the common creepy crawlies in gardens in the UK and it is hoped all seven of the fugitives will be back before then.
Holly and Phil have just returned from their Easter holidays, with Holly back to on fashion form.
