Coronation Street fans spotted a 'like mother like daughter' moment on the soap tonight.
Amy Barlow, played by Elle Mulvaney, has been keeping her boyfriend a secret from everyone around her.
The teenager, who celebrated her 18th birthday earlier this week, has been dating 'bad boy' Jacob Hay.

Fans of the show were quick to point out similarities between the youngster and her mum.Tracey Barlow, played by Kate Ford, and shared their thoughts on Twitter.

Tonight's episode saw Amy accidently let her big secret slip to friends Summer Spellman and Asha Alahan.
She said: "I was going to tell you, I was but I know how people feel about him."
Summer said: "Yeah including you, I thought."
Amy replied: "That was before. He's changed."
Summer reminded her that Jacob almost got Simon killed and Amy said: "Do you seriously think I'd be with him if he was still that person?"
Her friends remained unconvinced as Asha said: "Your parents are not going to be happy about this."
Amy promised to tell her parents, just not yet.
