ITV Good Morning Britain viewers complain over 'massive spoiler alert' as they reveal Channel 4 show finalists

Good Morning Britain viewers were left fuming at the programme on Thursday (May 12) thanks to a 'massive spoiler alert'. Susanna Reid was back at the helm of the ITV show alongside Ben Shephard, while Kate Garraway was on hand to bring the latest headlines.

The hosting pair started the programme to a foodbank charity boss after an MP claimed we have 'generation after generation who cannot cook properly, they cannot budget'.

They also discussed the story of a passenger with no flying experience landing a small plane in Florida after the pilot became 'incoherent' following a medical emergency - as well as the latest goings-on with the Eurovision Song Contest ahead of the big final on Saturday (May 14).

GMB left viewers disgruntled after Susanna and Ben spoke about the SAS: Who Dares Wins final, which airs on Channel 4 this week. They revealed it will be an all-female final and spoke to the remaining recruits describe the physical and mental challenges they faced throughout the competition.

But it appears the results of the finalists were yet to be shown on the programme, which airs on a Sunday night, and have therefore found out the result days earlier.

@AJM1883 tweeted: "Gmb, Thank you for spoiling our viewing of SAS”who dares wins” by revealing the final 4 before it is shown this Sunday." @xxShell87xx echoed: "Well done for the massive spoiler alert as to who is the final 4, and to reveling that two have won. Great work GMB!"

"Thanks for the spoiler - just watched the last episode to see if I’d missed something!" @coatsw1Michelle replied as @georgiashanadex fumed: "You ruined the ending, the most recent episode had 9 people left and you said 2 people win. Thanks for spoiling!"

@maccrunner echoed: "#GMB thanks for ruining the next episode of sas who dares wins. There were still more than 4 people in the show at the end of the most recent episode……" while @vwgti80 added: "@gmb #gmb #sas well that’s a spoiler showing who got through to final stage before it’s been aired ffs!!!"

SAS: Who Dares Wins returned to screens back in early April with the Directing Staff putting twenty new recruits through their paces to see if they had what it takes to pass the Special Air Services screening process, testing their mental, emotional and physical strength.

Jason 'Foxy' Fox and Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham both returned to the programme but there was a huge change as Ant Middleton was replaced as Chief Instructor by former US Marine Rudy Reyes. He and Foxy and Billy were also joined by ex-US navy SEAL Remi Adeleke.
