Emmerdale viewers were stunned as teen delinquent Jacob's behaviour spiralled out of control.
Leyla and David were disappointed to learn that Jacob had only passed one of his GCSEs, after suffering at the hands of paedophile Maya Stepney.
Viewers have been watching the fall-out after Maya's grooming of the then 15-year-old was revealed.
Despite being sentenced for child abuse and seeing Maya in prison, Jacob is still in love with the former teacher.
But on tonight's episode viewers were stunned as Jacob accused Priya of coming on to him.
David's former flame had invited Jacob over for lunch to discuss his GCSE situation after seeing how upset he was.
This led her to suggest that it would be good for Jacob to find a new girlfriend, one he could truly learn to love without being manipulated.
She placed a supportive hand on his leg to reassure him, but Jacob took it the wrong way - claiming that Priya was 'hypocrite' and 'just as bad as Maya'.
However, David and Leyla were also shocked to learn that Jacob has been writing letters to Maya, refusing to end the relationship.
Maya has 10 months of her sentence still to serve, but viewers saw how Jacob is planning to reunite with her and many took to Twitter to discuss the latest drama.
