Friday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore the countdown to Christmas Day. It is set to be a busy festive season for Ethan Anderson and Marcus Dean as they try to buy a new house.
The lovers have become frustrated living with their messy housemates. Amelia Spencer suggested they should move into Harriet Finch's home to get their own space.

Harriet died in dramatic scenes as part of the soap's 50th anniversary celebrations in October. The former vicar's home has been empty ever since.
Ethan and Marcus were joined by Manpreet Sharma and Charles Anderson as they helped prepare them for a fresh start. Manpreet was insistent on the family have a happy Christmas together in scenes during tonight's episode.
However, viewers following the show on Twitter were baffled during the scenes as they wondered why Harriet's house was in such a dilapidated state.
One user said: "Where's Harriet's furniture gone & why are the walls in such a state"
Anne added: "What happened to Harriet's house? Who wrecked it?"
Chris commented: "who the hell wrecked Harriet's house."
