ITV Emmerdale viewers baffled by 'problem' as Amelia Spencer offered new role

Emmerdale viewers were baffled as Amelia Spencer was offered a new role.

Friday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore the fallout as the character, played by Daisy Campbell, tries to raise baby Esther. Amelia has been hit with a number of struggles as the baby's dad, Samson Dingle, has refused to offer any support.

The character has since been enjoying a relationship with Noah Dingle and the two seemed to be creating a stable environment for Esther. However, Noah has been getting blackmailed by Samson and was paying Esther's biological dad to stay away.

Samson was rumbled earlier this week and was scorned by other members of the Dingle family. However, Amelia was disappointed Noah wasn't honest with her and broke off their relationship.

She was searching to become financially independent in tonight's show and accepted an offer to work at Mandy Dingle's salon. However, viewers following the show on Twitter were confused by the proposition as they wondered how Mandy can take on new staff when it appears the salon never has any customers.

Gillian said: "I thought the salon was on its a**e?!"

Shane posted: "How does Mandy make any money her Salon has hardly anyone in it."

Gavin commented: "THE SALON GETS NO B****Y CUSTOMERS!"
