Emmerdale fans were left confused tonight as Cain was kidnapped by Moira's brother Mackenzie.
Mackenzie arrived in the Dales yesterday and said he wanted £5,000 for the harm that Moira had done by walking out on her family all those years ago.
To ensure Moira paid up, he kidnapped Cain and bundled him into his boot, before locking him up in a nearby disused farm building.
Mackenzie told Cain about the pain Moira had caused and said he just wanted to get what he "was owed."
Moria eventually turned up at the building and said she was unable to get the £5,000, but had managed to scrape together £750.
But Mackenzie said that wasn't good enough and the pair went to the house to look for more cash.
However viewers were left confused as to why Moira hadn't just called the police on her brother when he had kidnapped Cain.
Brian said: "Why does Moira not call the police."
Bradley Coombes said: "Why has Moira not rung the police."

And Chris P said: "Yeah cus you definitely wouldn't call the police."
Cain managed to free himself from his ties and turned up at the house to find Moira and Mackenzie arguing, with Mackenzie dropping the bombshell that the pair's mother had died.
