ITV Corrie fans can't believe Stephanie Beacham's age as she returns as Martha

Coronation Street fans have been delighted to see a soap legend back on the famous cobbles. Dynasty icon Stephanie is gracing our screens again as Ken Barlow's former flame Martha Fraser.

Stephanie, who played Sable Colby in the American soap operas The Colbys and Dynasty, was last seen in Corrie in 2009. She and fellow literature lover Ken met and began an affair when his dog Eccles chased after some ducks while walking along the canal and fell into the freezing water.

As Ken tried to get Eccles out, Martha extended a fishing net from her boat and managed to save her. Ken, played by William Roache, almost left his late wife Deirdre for Martha but had a last-minute change of mind.

Ken told Wendy how he once had an affair with Martha and now he needs to build bridges for the sake of the theatre company. But as he and Martha enjoyed a catch-up, Ken realised that he’s torn between the two women, paving the way for a dramatic new love triangle.

As Corrie fans discussed the new storyline, they remarked how eighties legend Stephanie, 75, looks far younger than her years. @Theatreluvvie12 tweeted: "Have to say Stephanie Beacham looks amazing. Remember her from Connie and Tenko days as well as Dynasty."

@tomasibray commented: "Stephanie Beecham looks youthful." And @teenamassam wrote: "Just googled Stephanie Beacham to find out how old she is, I’m shocked, she’s 75, she looks amazing…"

@blue_laur11 asked: "How fabulous does Stephanie Beecham look" And @mishybabez_said: "Stephanie Beacham is beautiful she doesn't age."
