ITV Ant and Dec's Limitless Win: Welsh contestant's awkward blunder sees dad cost his daughter £10,000 after ignoring her

A father and daughter duo lost out on winning at least £10,000 on Ant & Dec's Limitless Win following an awkward blunder.

On Saturday night's show ITV showed Abbie, 32, and Phil, 61, from Pontypridd, trying to figure out the size of a Pringle tube in order to be in with the chance of bagging £10,000 and potentially more.

With 15 lives in tact, Dec asked them: "To the nearest centimetre, how tall is a standard 200g tube of Pringles?"

"He looks like the guy!" Ant was heard whispering to Dec, as he acted out Phil's twirly moustache.

"He's the man! He's the Pringle man! He's the Pringle guy!" Dec replied.

Phil appeared on the show with his daughter, Abbie (ITV)

As Ant and Dec continued to talk about his likeness to the Pringle man's character, Abbie and Phil were failing to agree on an answer.

As the clock ticked and the pair turned the dial, Phil changed their answer at the last second, plumping for 27cm.

"You just kept dialling didn't you Phil? Just coz you look a little bit like the guy on a tube of Pringles with your 'tache, doesn't mean you necessarily know the answer to this!" Ant told him as Abbie laughed out loud.

Sadly, the answer was actually 26. Contestants can guess a number under the correct answer and stay in the game (if they have enough lives left). But going a single number over a correct number is the end of the game.

"I told you," said Abbie, as her father put his head in his hands.

Abi continued: "You owe me £10,000 right now."

Luckily, ahead of the show, Abbie said they they only entered to play "on a whim", so hopefully the loss wasn't too drastic for the pair in the long-run.
