Lorraine Kelly's daughter Rosie Smith is married. Rosie Kelly Smith wed Steve White at Sir Andy Murray's Cromlix hotel, near Dunblane, on July 25. The couple's nearly two-year-old daughter, Billie, was flower girl.
Now, the presenter has offered insight into the "joyful" and "relaxed" day, with Rosie herself giving details of the royal-inspired dress she wore, that she "manifested" for her special day.
Lorraine also reveals the adorable way her daughter honoured her own 1992 wedding, with an sweet touch that nodded back to the day she married Steve Smith.
Speaking exclusively to Hello! magazine about why she and her now husband chose Cromlix as the venue for their nuptials, Rosie shares, "We picked Cromlix as it’s in the middle of Scotland but it’s also very remote."
She continues, "You can't see any other buildings when you look out the windows so it feels like you're in the Highlands, which is quite nice. We wanted somewhere we could take over and have as our own" - the couple hired the entire hotel for exclusive use.
"It was the perfect day," Lorraine says of her daughter's wedding, adding, "I think the word I would use to describe it was joyful and it was also really relaxed."
Rosie wore a stunning dress from Suzanne Neville, with full-length sleeves and a buttoned back. She completed her look with a Suzanne Neville bespoke lace veil and Jimmy Choo shoes.
Lorraine's daughter also reveals the inspiration behind the choice for her gorgeous dress, and royal watchers might already have noticed it.
Rosie was actually inspired by the Princess of Wales when choosing her wedding attire. "Until Kate Middleton got married, I had thought you couldn’t do long sleeves without being much older," she explains.
She continues, "But she looked beautiful, so I wanted to wear something elegant like that."
Rosie reveals, "I had been manifesting it and when I tried it on, I knew straight away that this was it," she says of the gown, continuing, "I had looked at so many styles but this one was always in the back of my head."
To honour Lorraine's wedding, Rosie paid tribute to her parents' 1992 big day by wrapping her bouquet with a piece of the same Douglas tartan Lorraine had used for her own wedding invitations.
"That's my daughter, pure thoughtfulness," Lorraine says with apparent pride. Sharing her thoughts on seeing her daughter walking down the aisle, Lorraine felt many emotions.
"It was a mixture of, ‘Oh my gosh, I can't believe my baby is a bride and a mother and she looks so beautiful,’" she shares.
Lorraine continues, "The dress was perfect and she just radiated sheer happiness. I was so proud of her. When I saw her standing there looking like that, all the emotion came out. I did cry quite a lot; that was a beautiful, beautiful moment."
Lorraine's mother Anne was also in attendance, with Lorraine sharing, "It was so wonderful to have four generations there," adding, "My mum's not been too well, she's got a terrible kidney illness and she's very frail now compared to what she was. But on the day, she looked absolutely incredible, and she felt incredible as well."
Rosie met her husband on dating app Hinge, and fell pregnant six months later. She candidly reveals what she values the most about her relationship.
"I've always said that Steve – and I don't want it to sound boring, because it's not – to me, he feels very safe," she says.
Rosie concludes, "I know people talk about fireworks, which are also there, but all I need is that steady calmness."
