Donald Trump‘s creepy birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein – which Trump has insisted is fake – may be about to go public. In an MSNBC interview, Bradley Edwards, the attorney representing Epstein’s victims, has underlined that he knows precisely where the book is, who has it, and that it will soon be made available for all to see.
Edwards has spent years sifting through evidence relating to Epstein’s life and crimes, but specifically knows about the birthday book. He said: “I know that the executors of his [Epstein’s] estate are in possession of that book and I think that after they turn it over it should be set in the Smithsonian as an artefact of this time. It’s going to go down in history.”

He went on to underline that “the world” will soon see the contents of the book and, “they’ll know who were Jeffrey Epstein’s friends at the time, what letters did his family write to him, what other pictures are in there?”
It’s pointed out that if, as Edwards claims, the executors of Epstein’s estate have this book, it could easily be subpoenaed: “I know the executor’s lawyers. I’ve worked with them for years. They’re good lawyers, they’re good people. They’d comply with a subpoena immediately. We could solve this problem so quickly – if people want to solve problems”.
Well, that’s a big “if” right now. Republicans are currently tangled up in knots over the Epstein issue, as many have been strong-armed into backing up Trump after his sudden (and deeply suspicious) U-turn over their release. Republicans have even shut down the House altogether rather than risk being forced into an awkward vote on the matter.
Rupert Murdoch’s lawyers must be feeling confident
Bubbling away behind this is Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal and its owner Rupert Murdoch. The core of that suit is that Trump’s birthday note is a total fabrication, saying the journalists “falsely pass off as fact that President Trump, in 2003, wrote, drew, and signed this letter.”
They argue that the journalists “failed to attach the letter, failed to attach the alleged drawing, failed to show proof that President Trump authored or signed any such letter, and failed to explain how this purported letter was obtained.”, underlining “The reason for those failures is because no authentic letter or drawing exists.”
All of which means it’d be a difficult moment for Trump’s lawyers if the letter in question were to appear. And, with the newspaper doubtless having put every word of their article past their lawyers before publication, we’re betting the Wall Street Journal knows for a fact that the letter in question does indeed exist. And we can’t wait to find out what Trump and Epstein’s “wonderful secrets” are.
