After a return to the AXA Training Centre to speak to Jurgen Klopp in the flesh on Friday, the Reds were back in Premier League action on Saturday, squeezing past West Ham United courtesy of Sadio Mane's winning goal at Anfield.
It was a nervy game in the end, but one reflects well on Klopp's men that they were able to emerge from a fairly even contest with the maximum points.
They will likely be the better team more often than not between now and the end of the campaign, so it bodes well that they can also win games when not at their fluent best.
Klopp spoke after the game - in the first in-person press conference at Anfield since the Atletico Madrid game in March 2020 - of how proud he was of the players coming through a tough examination from the top-four chasing Hammers.
Monday was another press conference day as the manager and Fabinho previewed the Champions League visit from Inter on Tuesday evening.
That was another hard-fought contest and while the Reds ultimately lost on the night, they did enough to make sure it is their name in the hat for the last-eight draw on March 18.
There's a school of thought that suggests Liverpool are just having a slight wobble right now given they have only scored one goal in over 300 minutes in games against Chelsea, West Ham and Inter, but the optimists among us would claim that Liverpool have not been harmed by that at all.
So if this is the sticky patch for Klopp's men, it is heartening that they are still able to keep on course along that quadruple tightrope they are walking at the moment.
On Thursday I was back down at Anfield to speak to managing director Andy Hughes about the Anfield Road expansion project that officially began at the end of September when Klopp put the first spade in the ground on a miserably wet day outside the ground.
Thankfully the weather was much more accommodating this time around as I chatted to the Reds' MD about the plans, what Liverpool's latest accounts mean going forward and how the latest investment in club infrastructure is proof of owners FSG's commitment to the long-term cause.

Contractors from the Buckingham Group have spoken about how they believe fans will get the 'wow factor' in the next couple of months as they make their way through Stanley Park and it is only a little over a year away until the project will be complete which is obviously really exciting for supporters.
It is the third major project taken on by FSG during their time at Anfield alongside the Main Stand development and the AXA Training Centre and with the cost now rising to around £80m, it takes the overall investment on those developments to just under the £250m mark.
Another day means another press conference, of course, so keep your eyes peeled for all the latest from Klopp as he previews Saturday's trip to Brighton in the Premier League.
I am off to the south coast myself on Friday afternoon and looking forward to what will actually be my first experience of the Amex Stadium.
After that, well, you know what comes next...more games for Liverpool as they hunt for four trophies goes on.
Liverpool, if they are to go to the FA Cup and Champions League finals could have as many as 19 games left to play this season.
I am tired just thinking about that, but this is the ride Klopp's Reds are taking us all on this season from players to fans to the journalists who cover it all.
