It continues to feel like Dalvin Cook is going to have a big 2019 season

The first two seasons of Dalvin Cook’s career haven’t been ideal.

The Vikings running back tore his ACL after a solid start to his career in 2017 and never seemed like himself in 2018 while missing five games.

Cook had a fully healthy offseaon and many are expecting big things from him in season No. 3. It certainly sounds like he’s put the work in.

“The other thing I would say about Dalvin Cook is nobody works harder than him. I think for our offense, Dalvin Cook is a leader,” Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski said Monday. “He’s out here working his tail off. In the meeting rooms he is outstanding, so certainly Dalvin’s definitely a leader and somebody that we are lucky we have and excited what he’s about to do.”

This has to have you excited if you’re a Vikings fan. The team lost Latavius Murray to the Saints in free agency, which should open up a bigger role for Cook, assuming he can stay healthy, which is a big if, I know.

Maybe we can finally see a full season of what we saw a glimpse of during Cook’s rookie season.
