Israeli Military Operations In Gaza Have Killed Over 34,000

Ongoing ground operation of the Israeli army against Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, in the Gaza Strip

Israeli military operations in Gaza have resulted in a significant loss of life, with at least 34,183 people reported dead after 200 days of war, according to Gaza's Health Ministry. Among the casualties, 14,778 children and 9,752 women have tragically lost their lives, while 17,000 children in Gaza have been orphaned.

Developments on the Ground

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued evacuation warnings to residents in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, urging them to relocate to shelters in other parts of the enclave. Overnight strikes were reported in various areas of Gaza, including the demolition of the top three floors of the Al-Sahaba building in Gaza City. Additionally, the IDF intercepted two suspicious aerial targets off the northern coast. Hamas military wing spokesperson, Abu Obaida, called for continued attacks on Israel in a recent video message.

Emergency workers in Khan Younis recovered 35 bodies from a mass grave within the Nasser medical complex, bringing the total to 310. In Lebanon, Israeli airstrikes targeted Hezbollah members in southern Lebanon, resulting in casualties. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi warned of dire consequences if Israel were to attack Iranian territory, following a reported Israeli military strike inside Iran.
