Recent Israeli airstrikes in Gaza have resulted in a significant loss of life, with at least 16 people reported dead in the past 24 hours. The Civil Defense Directorate in Gaza confirmed that the strikes have caused widespread devastation in the besieged enclave.

One of the deadliest incidents occurred in Gaza City's Al Tuffah neighborhood, where a six-story building was hit following a telephone warning from Israeli forces. Tragically, nine people, including two children, a woman, and a man, lost their lives in the attack. The Civil Defense Directorate is seeking a response from the Israel Defense Forces regarding this strike and others that have taken place recently.

Another strike targeted the Yabna refugee camp in Rafah, claiming the lives of seven Palestinians, including four children and two women. The strike hit the home of the Abu El-Honoud family, where displaced individuals had sought shelter.
