Israel-Iran conflict: India urges citizens in Israel to stay alert and avoid unnecessary travel

India has advised its citizens in Israel to exercise caution, remain close to designated shelters and avoid all non-essential travel within the country as tensions between Israel and Iran continue to escalate.

In an advisory issued on Monday, the Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv urged Indian nationals to stay vigilant and strictly follow safety instructions issued by Israeli authorities.

The advisory comes after renewed exchanges of missile attacks between Israel and Iran. Iran launched dozens of missiles towards Israel on Sunday evening, prompting retaliatory action from Israel and raising concerns about a wider regional conflict.

"In view of the prevailing security situation in the region, all Indian nationals in Israel are advised to exercise utmost caution and remain vigilant at all times," the embassy said.
