The Internal Security Operations Command (Isoc) has urged locals to report the presence of "Cambodian spies" following clashes between Thai-Cambodian forces over the weekend.

Reports should be made via government agencies' hotlines, according to an Isoc statement issued on Monday, which requested the public's cooperation in observing and reporting any information that may be helpful to officials.

"These include foreigners acting secretively or avoiding identification, photographing or recording information in restricted areas, entering restricted areas without reason, or engaging in unusual contact or movement near government or security areas," the statement said.

Isoc confirms that all information provided by the public will be kept confidential and used for public safety.

Locals can contact Isoc via the 191 hotline, the 1374 Isoc hotline, the 1567 Damrongtham Centre hotline, or the nearest military units or security officers immediately.
