Let's not beat around the bush and cut straight to the chase: To the best of our knowledge, it is currently not possible to unlock the door behind Moro on Island 3. We've tested every possible solution and tried all the methods, but the door won't budge. We've completed all the currently avilable Island 3 quests, and none of them have anything to do with getting inside the locked door on World 3.

I also looked into feedback from the Forge Discord community, and so far, even the server’s 2 million members haven’t been able to uncover a solution. Because of this, it’s safe to assume that the door behind the Forge on World 3 is currently inaccessible. The most likely explanation is that it’s reserved for content planned for Winter Expansion Part 2, which is expected to launch sometime in January.
What is Behind The Locked Door on World 3?
This is purely speculative on my part, but based on currently missing content that has been previously announced or teased through official channels and sneak-peek posts, there are several strong possibilities for what may be hidden behind the locked door on World 3 in The Forge. Drawing from content that has been teased but is not yet available in the game, below is a list of what we might discover once the door behind the Forge on Island 3 is finally unlocked:

- One possibility is that this area serves as the arena for the upcoming Skeleton King boss, much like how the Golem Boss encounter is locked behind a gate.
- The door may lead to a location where the heavily teased Angelic Pickaxe is hidden. This new Pickaxe was teased prior to the update, but hasn’t yet been added to the game.
- Several late-game spider enemies are listed in the new enemy index, yet no players have encountered them so far. These could potentially be enemies found within the zone behind the locked door.
- Finally, there are multiple missing (locked) armor recipes visible in the crafting menu that are not currently obtainable. It’s possible that accessing the area behind Moro on World 3 will be required to unlock them.
