Is TRNSMT 2021 still on? Scotland's biggest music festival set to return after 2 years

TRNSMT 2021 was initially pushed back this year but has been confirmed to be taking place September 10-12 at Glasgow Green.

Scotland 's biggest music festival is back after a two-year hiatus as fans, performers and organisers gear up for the live event following 18 months of a global pandemic.

The music festival was originally billed for July 2021 but had to be pushed back to September to allow for the lifting of strict Covid restrictions.

TRNSMT organisers confirmed the festival was back on after all of Scotland moved into Level 0 on August 9, meaning no social distancing regulations are required.

Small changes regarding the line up have changed over the last year such as The Chemical Brothers replacing Lewis Capaldi as Sunday headliner.

Tickets bought for 2020, or July dates will still be valid for the September festival so fans need not worry.
