Is this a world record? Onlookers can't believe it as Nottingham driver 'does a 1,600-point turn'

No-one's saying that doing a three-point turn isn't one of the things which takes a little bit of time to perfect as a driver.

Like parallel parking, however, it eventually clicks into place and feels as normal as anything.

But not for some people, it seems.

Onlookers couldn't believe it when they saw this driver taking endless attempts to get out of a tricky situation in Radford.

Watch the moment of road rage when an angry driver repeatedly reverses into another car

The driver - who the commentators on the video said was a woman - appears to have driven down Kyme Street, before being blocked in by a lorry at the T-junction with Grant Street.

But as she attempts to turn around, she gets stuck in a series of seemingly never-ending tiny turns.

People taking the video on April 5 made comments such as, 'What is she doing?' and 'This is the best ever', as the driver tried to extricate herself.

One even said she was 'doing about a 1,600-point turn'.

While it's probably not quite as bad as that, the video posted on social media lasts for over three minutes, and the situation had apparently been going on for a few minutes before that.

That's a lot of turns.

Why air fresheners in your car could land you with a £100 fine

We've taken the audio off the video because, if we tried to bleep out all the swearing, we'd still be here next week.

But the driver eventually extricates herself from the situation when the lorry moves and she's able to get through.

If it hadn't moved? She might still have been there today.
