The Drake Curse — named for athletes and teams who fall short of expectations after being supported by the Canadian rapper — is so 2019 (and also, it supposedly ended with the Toronto Raptors’ title, but tell that to the Baltimore Ravens).
Instead, we’ve got the opposite brewing: the “Jonas Blessing.”
This comes to us directly from Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. He used the Jonas Brothers Twitter account to share his new theory: Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Los Angeles Dodgers star Cody Bellinger and Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton have all attended the band’s shows … and all of them have since won titles.
Conspiracy time.
