Hellblade 2 is coming to PS5, along with the first game, so you'll be able to play through Senua's entire journey on PS5 soon. The game from Xbox-owned studio Ninja Theory carries on the story of Senua's Sacrifice, which launched on PS4 back in 2017 and saw the titular protagonist attempt to reclaim the soul of her dead husband.

When does Senua's Saga Hellblade 2 launch on PS5?
Hellblade 2 and Hellblade 1 come to PS5 on August 12, 2025, at 8am UTC - that's 1am PDT/4am EDT/9am BST. That means both Senua games are now available on PS5 as well as Xbox (including via Xbox Game Pass) and Steam.
Both games are quite short and the Hellblade 2 length means you could get through the whole game in a couple of days or a few sessions. You might also want to read up on our Hellblade 2 tips before embarking on Senua's sequel journey, as there are some puzzles and combat encounters that can be a bit confusing given how little help the game provides.
Given Xbox's strategy of bringing certain smaller Xbox Game Studios titles to other consoles, perhaps the question now is whether both games will come to Switch 2 but there has been no news about such a release.
