Actor Shraddha Kapoor has given people some major vacation goals with her posts on Instagram from Italy. However, what really caught our attention was a comment on a particular post by actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, who is rumoured to be dating the leading lady of his film Rock On 2 (2016).
Shraddha posted a video on her Instagram page, capturing the time when she was flying above the clouds. She captioned it: “Up above the world so high. #airplaneview #magical #whenitsJustYouAndTheClouds”
Among the many comments, Farhan’s response was: “Oh give me a parachute and push me out. Hehehe.” This was followed by emoticons of a smile and a kiss.
Reports of their relationship emerged during the shoot of their film Rock On 2, followed by rumours that Shraddha’s father, actor Shakti Kapoor, was unhappy with their relationship. Rumour mills were abuzz with stories of how Shakti dragged Shraddha away from the apartment where she and Farhan had started living together.
However, Shraddha, in an earlier interview, denied these reports and expressed concern over such rumours. “I am actually the one who gets affected by all such news (on link-up with actors). My parents pacify me and say it’s a part and parcel of life. I am very happily single, romancing my movies right now,” she said.
Shakti Kapoor, too, brushed away the relationship rumours of Shraddha and Farhan. “I am not bothered about anything. There’s no pressure on any of us, because we know the truth. When we know the truth, I don’t care what the world thinks. I was holidaying in Goa when I got to know about this report. She (Shraddha) is sick and can’t even step out. She was at home resting when this rumour surfaced. How does one react to it? By ignoring it,” he said in an earlier interview.
Farhan was married to hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani for 16 years and got divorced in April this year. They have two daughters, Shakya and Akira.
