ARC Raiders is Embark Studio's biggest game, eclipsing even its free-to-play sensation The Finals.
The devs have mastered the balance between style and substance, offering a fresh and flashy new take on the extraction shooter genre that both looks good and plays exceptionally well.
But a lot of folks today can't afford to fork over $40 for a single game, and may be wondering if subscription services like Game Pass will be enriched by ARC Raiders. Here's everything you need to know.
Is ARC Raiders on Game Pass?
As of writing, no, ARC Raiders is not available on the Xbox Game Pass. It's a paid, premium title that can be purchased and played on just about every platform out there, including Xbox Series S and X, Steam, and PlayStation 5. At the moment it costs $40, though it'll likely be discounted through sales as time goes on.
The developers have not clearly stated that ARC Raiders will never come to Game Pass. The Finals, Embark's previous game, was also added to Game Pass after some time, though that title is already free-to-play and thus a markedly different case than ARC.
Even so, a lot of studios have been adding their games to Xbox Game Pass, including both paid and free-to-play titles, which could eventually lead to ARC Raiders' inclusion, perhaps in 2026 or later. The Finals was added two years after launch, so we might be in for a long wait.
Given how you can buy and play the game via the Xbox app on PC and Console could indicate more integration, but currently no announcement of such a decision has been made.
