Irvine church team looks for feedback on latest community project

Fullarton Parish Church is looking for feedback as it enters phase two of their Connexions project.

The church is planning to create a youth and community space with a large indoor multi-purpose hall.

It will join on to the back of the church building and minister, the Rev Neil Urquhart wants to hear from the community how they would like the facility to be used.

The Rev Neil Urquhart (Irvine Herald)

He said: “Presently our flourishing youth and community work and sports development work, headed up by Lindsey and Stuart Forsyth, are limited by a lack of appropriate space.

“ This project would build on Fullarton Connexions’ strong commitment to young people, sports activities and the wellbeing of all ages, body, mind and spirit.

“The project aims to include sports activities for people with disabilities as well. We’d like to hear what sports and activities people would be interested in using the centre for.”

There is an online survey at www.fullartonconnexions.co.uk/phase2.
