Irish youngster ends up on Sky Sports after training routine goes horribly wrong

A young Irishman has made the big time on Sky Sports after a hilarious video of him training at home didn't go to plan.

Cork youngster John James Dollar Young was knocking out a few volleys at the side of his house when he caught a bounce a little too well at the expense of a shed window, reports Cork Beo.

Clubs around Ireland have been encouraging their players to video their routines as they adhere to the coronavirus measures - sadly for JJ that meant the cam was on hand and there was no denying responsibility.

Douglas Hall shared the video on Twitter and it quickly went viral picking up the attention of the broadcasting giants.

Chief reporter Bryan Swanson joked 'nobody likes to see that' as they showed the clip to millions.

Douglas Hall later congratulated the 'Star of the Show' on his newfound fame and threw up another clip showing the young lad doing some keepy-uppys with excellent precision.

They said: "To be fair to John James, here's show of his talent."

The footage got some great comments as John James's celeb status now means he's got some celeb associates.

Westlife's Nicky Byrne congratulated him on managing to smash a window without getting in trouble while Swanson followed up saying he hoped he didn't get too much slack from the family.

Janet Young confirmed John is "still alive and thrilled" after making it on TV.
