A shower supply company accidentally sent a customer an Electric Picnic ticket and are on a frantic search for its whereabouts.
Shower Gem, a company that sells an in shower unit that holds products, was putting Bloom festival tickets into customers' orders as a "surprise" when they made the mistake.
Instead of putting the Bloom ticket in one customer's order, they accidentally placed their Electric Picnic ticket - worth €300 - as they said they look very similar.
The company took to Facebook to ask if people had received the missing ticket and expressed how “they looked pretty much exactly the same”.
Sean McGarry from ShowerGem said: “Every once in a while we like to randomly surprise customers. Sometimes we send out free packets of skittles or sweets but because we are exhibiting at the Bloom Garden Show we thought it would be good to send a few free tickets for the event.
“I stored tickets for Bloom in a drawer in my bedroom. My Electric Picnic ticket was kept in the same drawer so a family member tasked with the job of sending out Bloom tickets mistakenly pulled out the EP one also!"
The firm posted a picture of the Bloom ticket to show how alike the two tickets are, as they both came from Ticketmaster.
They are now reaching out to their customers to bring them to their Bloom stand or to drop them a message on Facebook if they find them.
Sean continued: “I noticed two days ago and was hoping a customer would find it and message me but no joy! I’d say they don’t even realize the cost of the golden ticket!
“The poor person will probably try and give it to the ticket man at Bloom to try and get in for free.”
Sean said in the Facebook post: “These things are like gold dust so if the customer that received the golden ticket along with their ShowerGem order sends me a message saying that they have it or else drops it into our stand (G7) at Bloom, I promise free ShowerGems for life.”
