Irish pair win Halloween with epic 'pintman' Paddy Losty and Maureen costumes

This Irish pair won Halloween with these epic 'pintman' Paddy Losty and Maureen costumes - complete with a packet of peanuts and a fry.

Monaghan woman Claire Duffy and Tyrone woman Sinead McKenna went all out this year as the pair embraced the famous online meme.

The girls dressed up and fried up some rashers and sausages before hitting the nightclubs in Belfast.

'Pintman' Paddy Losty became immortalised on the internet after a photograph of the Dublin native, with a quote saying he was "known to put away 30 pints or more in a day", went viral.

Afterwards, an audio clip claiming to be the pintman surfaced.

It said: "And I wouldn't be fond of drinking but when I do go at it, I go at it awful and very hard.

"I do have four to five pints in about two hours. I'd have a packet of crisps then, and a maybe an auld packet of peanuts.

"And I'd go for probably... I'd have 10 more anyway. And I'd get up the following morning and Maureen would have the fry on.

"And I'd go at again. And there'd be no f***ing stopping me. I'd take the shirt off any man's back. B*****ds."

Sinead McKenna told the Irish Mirror: "We actually made a real life fry and took it with us to the nightclub.

"Our first stop was The Rose and Crown, then on to Plastik nightclub in Belfast.

"The bouncers were picking at the fry, as were people in the club who kept asking us for it, but sure we had to save it for wee Paddy."
