As the country tries to keep themselves entertained at home during lockdown some families have been raising the bar by playing hilarious pranks on one another in spectacular fashion to pass the time.
And the Metcalfe family from Darndale, Dublin, are no different.
Young mum Tracey Metcalfe decided to play a little prank on her 74-year-old dad Anthony while relaxing at home recently - and caught it all on camera.
In the video Anthony is enjoying a cup of tea when Tracey begins to chat to her online followers on her phone.
Tracey is heard boasting about her new leather handbag and claims it cost her a whopping €2,100 before being interrupted by her shocked dad.
Anthony's reaction is hilarious as he calls her an "eejit" for spending that much on the designer accessory.
Tracey then reveals to her dad off camera that it was in fact a playful prank - one which he most definitely fell for.

Speaking to the Irish Mirror Tracey said that her dad is normally the one playing the pranks.
She said: "I had to send you my dads reaction to thinking I bought a hand bag for over 2,000 euros.
"For the record, I didn't actually buy the bag. He is the prankster of the family definitely so it was great getting this reaction from him."
