A Clare B&B has been named in the top 20 best-rated B&Bs in the world.
Daly’s House, Doolin placed 19th in Tripadvisor's annual travellers’ choice Best of the Best Awards for Hotels.
The B&B took the title of Ireland's number one and Europe's eighth best-rated B&B.
Other Irish accommodation also placed well in the awards showing Ireland's hospitable nature scored well with travellers.
Kenmare, Co. Kerry’s Rockcrest House was Ireland’s second best rated B&B and placed 11th in the European list.
Not only did Irish B&Bs pick up some awards this year other businesses also received world recognition for their hospitality skills.
Heaton’s Guesthouse and Castlewood House in Dingle were named the sixth and seventh best rated small hotels in Europe and 20th and 21st in the world.
Dingle was confirmed to be a tourist hotspot as Greenmount House took 10th place in the best rated in Europe.
The awards recognise those that go the extra mile, that are the most wanderlust worthy and places that make a holiday.
The Toulson Court B&B in Scarborough, UK, claimed the spot of the world's number one B&B, while Hotel Colline de France took the title of the Top hotel on the planet for 2021, with rooms priced at €138 per night.
This year saw TripAdvisor add new categories to the much-loved awards including, Hottest New Hotels, Top Rooftop Hotels, Safari Stays and Picture-Perfect Hotels.
Tripadvisor spokesperson, Hayley Coleman, said: "Now that travel throughout Ireland is back on, and the nation eagerly awaits the freedom to travel abroad again, Irish holidaymakers will want to start getting plans in motion for what could possibly be the most longed for trip of their life.
“This celebration of the best of the best hotels around the world should serve as the perfect guide for discovering places to stay that are fit for the holiday of a lifetime.”
