Four journalists covering a demonstration by women demanding equal rights in Teheran on Monday were arrested and beaten by security forces. According to the Paris-based press freedom body, Reporters Without Borders, one was later released but three are held at an unknown location. Twelve journalists have been arrested in less than a month in Iran, including Abolfazel Vesali, editor of the daily Nedai Azarabadeg. (Via www.rsf.org)
