Iran has strongly condemned the US attack on a commercial vessel that resulted in the deaths of at least three Indian nationals, accusing Washington of "armed robbery" and "state piracy" while calling for international accountability.
In a post on X, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei expressed condolences to the families of the deceased sailors and to the people and government of India.
