A police investigation is underway after a woman was found dead inside a house.
A cordon remained in place outside the address in Grimsby following the discovery on Monday evening.
There was a large police presence with officers going door-to-door after they were called to the scene in Convamore Road by ambulance staff around 5pm.
Humberside Police are currently treating the death as unexplained, reports the Grimsby Telegraph .
East Midlands Ambulance Service vehicles have been photographed parallel parked outside the property, while a police patrol car is seen half parked up on the curb.
Detectives have entered the house holding evidence bags and scenes of crime officers also attended with a white sheet being placed over the front door.
Forensic teams were, meanwhile, focusing on the front door and were seen loading evidence into their van.
A Humberside Police spokesman said: "A report was received from the ambulance service just before 5pm today after they attended a property on Convamore Road in Grimsby.
"A woman had been found deceased inside the address. Officers attended and a scene was established which remains in place this evening.
"The investigation is in the very early stages and at this time, the woman’s death is being treated as unexplained."
Shocked neighbours ventured into the street and it is understood police have asked nearby businesses for any CCTV.
Detectives started to leave the scene after a few hours but the scene guard remains in place.
