Celtic "could" launch a move to sign Milan Vitalis, according to a report in his homeland.

The 24-year-old is coming off a highly productive season with ETO FC, helping fire the club to the Hungarian title with 10 goals and six assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.

“I’m confident that I’ve performed well enough to take the next step,” he said in the aftermath of the triumph.

The attacking midfielder, who has six caps for Hungary and is currently away on international duty, has attracted growing interest after his standout campaign.

Talk of a potential move to Parkhead will also add to speculation over Celtic’s next managerial appointment, with Robbie Keane heavily linked to the role.

The former Republic of Ireland striker managed Ferencvaros last season and would have seen Vitalis at close quarters during the title race.
