Inter Milan are preparing to make the trip to the USA to take part in this summer's Florida Cup alongside Everton.
This is despite some rumours which circulated in Italian media on Monday which suggested the Serie A champions could be about to pull out of the summer competition.
The reports suggest that due to concerns over the spread of Covid-19 in the USA, in particular the delta variant of the virus, that Simone Inzaghi's squad would not be travelling to the States.
However, taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the club posted a picture of their tour bus appearing to be on the way to the airport.
The caption on the tweet translated to: "CHAMPS IN THE USA. We're coming."
Rafa Benitez and his Everton squad are due to fly out for the competition on Wednesday, potentially with some new signings on board as Andros Townsend and Asmir Begovic's moves near completion - at the time of writing.
The Blues are due to face Colombian outfit Millonarios in their first match of the tournament in the early hours of Monday morning, UK time.
Then, Everton will take on either Arsenal or Inter Milan in their second and final game of the competition either late on Wednesday night or early on Thursday morning, by UK time once more.
Upon their return to the UK, the Blues will face Manchester United at Old Trafford on August 7th - a week before kicking off their Premier League campaign against Southampton at Goodison Park.
