Hold onto your (NY Knicks) hats: contrary to reports, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner have not broken up. Multiple sources have come out of the woodwork to say the unlikely couple is fine, actually, and that report about Timmy “dumping” Kylie ahead of Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash is blatantly untrue.
Yesterday, sources told the Daily Mail there was “trouble in paradise” after Timothée was noticeably absent from Kris’ celeb-studded party.
However, presumably different sources have now told PEOPLE the couple are doing “great”.
“They’re great,” the insider dished before adding that the actor was in Europe for work and that the duo made “an effort to see each other every few weeks. He has a few days off for the holidays, so they’re making plans.”
Further adding to the strength of Jenner and Chalamet’s relationship, another insider said that the actor “talked about Kylie all the time while filming Marty Supreme“.
“She even flew out to visit him on set in NYC. They also met up in London while he was shooting Dune. They’re really in love,” the second source shared.
A third added they were “going strong”.
Rumours of a split first surfaced on November 11, when an insider told Daily Mail that there was “trouble in paradise” between Chalamet and Jenner following the momager’s 70th shebang.
The unnamed source claimed that Chalamet had “broken up with Kylie” before spilling that “this has happened before — but she talked him into getting back together. She is crazy about him, so that could well happen again.”
“There is trouble in paradise, but they aren’t completely over,” another insider told Daily Mail.
“He is filming quite a bit, and she feels that she has to chase him. She is putting in the work more than him.”
Neither Chalamet nor Jenner have said anything officially about the break-up rumours, but they were seen together last month at the New York Film Festival premiere of Chalamet’s new film, Marty Supreme.
This isn’t the only piping hot tea stemming from Jenner’s 70th birthday bash. Both Kris and Kim Kardashian quietly deleted photos of fellow attendees Meghan Markle and Prince Harry from Instagram, sending internet sleuths into overdrive.
