A plush new spa is opening in the Cheshire countryside next month.
Luxury spa brand Champneys is launching its first northern outpost at Mottram Hall in September.
The hotel has undergone a £15m transformation with £10m spent on the 33,000 sq ft spa facilities alone.
They include a 20m swimming pool with poolside cabanas, as well as DaleSauna brechel and organic saunas, salt steam room, ice fountain, monsoon and drench showers, and a cold room.
Fitness fans can also make the most of a new gym kitted out with Technogym equipment, plus a spin studio.
For those who prefer pampering, a range of relaxing Champneys treatments will be available, alongside Clarins and Elemis experiences.
Alongside the 15 treatment rooms will be a beauty lounge, offering manicures, pedicures and make-up, as well as the UK's first Champneys barber shop.
The spa will also boast a new restaurant and cafe, serving nutritious meals and snacks.
Designed by leading architects Darling Associates and award-winning interior designer Beverley Bayes, of Sparc Studios, the hotel's transformation has also included a revamp of the reception, champagne bar and garden room.
Champneys took over the grade II* listed, 18th century mansion in 2018. The resort also features a golf course, formal gardens and 270 acres of parkland.
The original Mottram estate dates back to 1310, but the hall itself was built in 1721. It was converted to a hotel in 1940.
The spa will be open to both day and overnight guests and bookings are being taken now, starting from £79 per person including lunch.
