Cardiff's newest luxury hotel, The Parkgate, opened this week and if a room isn't big enough for you - you can stay in your own private wing.
Designed with mega stars in mind, Westgate Street's luxury offering allows for two entire floors to be hired out - with a private lift and entrance to the Principality Stadium in tow.
In collaboration with the WRU and The Celtic Collection - who owns The Celtic Manor - the 170-bedroom hotel breathes life into two of the city centre’s most historic buildings – the former Head Post Office and the old County Court.

While there are 23 different types of rooms at the hotel - from luxurious suites to family rooms with bunk beds - the VIP option is undoubtedly the most exclusive.
Parts of the third and fourth floors of the hotel have the ability to be closed off, and only opened with a key - giving those who require more than just the one room to purchase an entire wing.

The whole wing can be closed off, meaning whoever purchases it would be given exclusive access to a cluster of suites.
Not only this, but there is a private lift to this wing, which would offer whoever is fortunate enough to be staying there private access to the reception, and even to the Principality Stadium.
Developers added this option when considering the raft of celebrities - from music artists to sports stars - who perform in the Principality Stadium and will be hoping to stay in the hotel.
The private entrance means they could easily get from the stadium to their accommodation, without having to brave Westgate Street.

We were fortunate to have a look around the Parkgate Suite on the fourth floor of the hotel, which can comprise of the private wing.
The room boasted a large, private bathroom, a dressing room area, a meeting area and a huge bedroom.
Each of these rooms has sliding doors, once again offering the additional level of privacy the celebrities often seek.
Far from just a hotel, The Parkgate offers a signature restaurant and bar, an elegant tea lounge and a luxurious rooftop spa overlooking the stunning Cardiff skyline. Owners describe the new venture as a "premium spot" in the city centre and "the finest place to stay".
Although The Parkgate will be a modern hotel, developers have retained several original features from the 20th Century buildings - from original beams and a staircase to features from the old Post Office and county court. There will also be a dedicated area in the hotel to showcase the building's history.
Hotel Manager Brady Smith, said: “I’ve worked in hospitality all my life, starting as an apprentice, and I’ve never been so excited. The beautiful restoration of these iconic heritage buildings has exceeded all our expectations and the last piece in the jigsaw is the guests – we can’t wait to start delivering exceptional experiences in this stunning setting.”
