We have only just edged into December but a whole host of celebs have rolled out the extravagant decorations and started the party season.
That includes newlyweds Kate and Rio Ferdinand who hosted a lavish festive dinner party over the weekend.
The couple, who tied the knot in a stunning three-day celebration in September, are gearing up to celebrate their first Christmas as a man and wife.
Kate, 28, gushed about the fancy evening with a selfie with her new hubby on Instagram - admitted that they "drank way TOO much" - before showing off the glamorous details.
The former TOWIE star said they had "the best evening" which included guests enjoying a four-course meal in the couple's own festive wonderland - dubbed "The Ferdys Dinner Party".
The white and pink themed bash saw the main dining table decorated with shimmering silver place cards and a stunning floral display mainly made up of orchids.
The menu was even engraved onto silver mirrors - we told you it was fancy.
Kate also put on a winter display in a gorgeous figure-hugging red dress.
Ex-Manchester United star Rio and his fitness fanatic beau married in an emotional cliff top ceremony at the D Maris Bay hotel in Marmaris, Turkey where Rio's two sons, Lorenz, 13, and 11-year-old Tate walked Kate down the aisle and eight-year-old daughter Tia acted as Maid of Honour.
Speaking about his new wife, 41-year-old Rio told OK Magazine : "I genuinely feel like Kate was sent to us after what we have all been through, she came into our lives at the most perfect time."
