Inside Manchester's most expensive apartment that costs an eye-watering £18,000 a month to rent

It is no secret that it costs a fair bit to rent somewhere in Manchester city centre. In the last year alone rent costs have gone up by 15 percent, with the average rent in Manchester now at £1,600 per month - which has gone up by £650 in the last six months according to Zoopla.

But that price has nothing on what it costs to rent the most expensive apartment in Manchester at the moment. This five-bed apartment sits at the top of the Grade II listed Century Buildings on St. Marys Parsonage and is on the market for a whopping £18,000 per calendar month, which equates to around £4,154 a week.

The luxury penthouse is right in the thick of the city centre, with south-west facing views overlooking Parsonage Gardens and stretching out across the entire city. But to get those views you'll also have to pay an eyewatering deposit of £20,769 up front.
