Joey Essex has opened the doors to his ultra-modern Essex mansion, giving fans a rare peek into his luxurious lifestyle in a new social media collaboration.
The former TOWIE star, 34, has lived in the five-bedroom, three-bathroom property worth £2.2million, for the past four years and recently showcased his high-tech home upgrades in a slick video promoting his Amazon Smart Home setup.
The video shows Joey strolling through his dream home, before stepping outside to reveal the centrepiece: an Ibiza-style garden, complete with a huge private swimming pool, gold dragon and monkey statues, a basketball court, and an outdoor bar – all part of what he proudly calls his “exclusive Essex beach club”.
Inside, Joey gave a glimpse of his flamboyant taste, showing off a plush pink bed with an oversized headboard in his bedroom.
The smart mansion is just a short walk from where he grew up – a semi-detached house in a tight-knit Chigwell street where he lived with his dad Don, a former boxer, his late mum Tina, and sister Frankie, who also appeared on The Only Way Is Essex.
With an estimated net worth of £8million, Joey is one of TOWIE’s biggest success stories.

He shot to fame after joining the ITV2 show in 2011 and went on to date fellow cast member Sam Faiers. Since then, he’s appeared on a string of reality shows, including I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, Celebs Go Dating and Dancing on Ice.
Off-screen, he’s had high-profile romances with the likes of Rita Ora, Amy Willerton, and Stephanie Pratt, and dipped into fashion too, launching his own label DAFDEA in 2017 and opening clothing store Fusey in Brentwood back in 2013.
In recent years, he’s continued to expand his reality TV résumé on both sides of the Atlantic with appearances on Love Island UK and Netflix’s Selling Sunset — but now the ex TOWIE star is stepping into new territory at home and potentially in the ring.
He has reportedly been in talks to make his boxing debut, following in the footsteps of his cousin Demi Sims, who recently took part in an influencer fight night.
But while fans wait to see if he’ll swap the poolside for the punchbag, Joey has been busy upgrading his Essex mansion into a fully-fledged smart home.

In a new campaign with Amazon, the reality star gave followers a glimpse of his tech-savvy setup — including Blink Outdoor 4 Cameras to monitor his Ibiza-style garden, Alexa-controlled blinds, mood lighting in the bedroom, and even a smart vacuum cleaner to keep the place spotless.
“I know some people might think you've got to be a genius to manage a smart home…but if I can do it, then anyone can!” Joey said. “I love that Alexa sets the mood in my bedroom, while Blink gives me peace of mind there's nothing lurking in the garden!”
The campaign comes as new research reveals nearly half of Brits feel overwhelmed by the idea of setting up a smart home, with a third saying they’d like to upgrade but don’t feel confident enough to do it.
Meryem Tom, UK Managing Director for Amazon Alexa, said: “From our research, we know some of our customers lack the confidence to make the most of their smart homes, but with a little help from Alexa, it really couldn’t be simpler. As Joey has shown, smart home tech truly does make life easier and more efficient — whether it’s for security, energy saving, or keeping in touch with loved ones.”
