Jason Leitch insists Celtic and Rangers are both on the same page to reinforce the 'stay at home' message ahead of next weekend's derby.
The Old Firm clash is at risk after thousands of Rangers fans gathered at Ibrox and in Glasgow city centre to celebrate their Premiership title win.
Both clubs attended a meeting on Friday night with the Scottish Government to make the case the match can go ahead safely and there will be no repeat of last weekend's events.
And although a decision will not be made until next week, national clinical director Leitch was pleased to report on BBC's Off the Ball that there is a united front and everybody is on the same wavelength.
He said: “The message is stay at home. It’s as simple as that.
“Last night we had a cabinet meeting led by the Minister for Justice Humza Yousaf and the Minister for Health Mairi Gougeon and the two clubs, Police Scotland’s chief constable, me and the local authority, and at that we all decided the message was to come from all of us.
"The message was to be straightforward, stay at home if you’re a fan.
"Watch the game on the tele, celebrate digitally and of course we hope in the fullness of time to have a celebration, but for now stay at home.”
