INDORE: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has already sent the proposals to University Grants Commission (UGC) after mapping of courses to be included in Common University Entrance Test (CUET).
The registration window is likely to open within a couple of days and DAVV will be the first state varsity to be part of CUET, said varsity officials.
DAVV has planned to include courses of 14 University Teaching Departments (UTD) for which will be conducted in July.
At the moment, the list of varsities mentioned for CUET doesn’t have DAVV’s name in it as the process of mapping wasn’t completed.
“The varsity has already sent the proposals after mapping the subjects and there are around 25 undergraduate courses which are being included in the CUET. As soon as we get a green signal from the commission, we will open the window for registration,” coordinator of DAVV’s CET admission committee, Dr KL Ahuja told TOI.
Besides all the courses which were included previously, this year an additional course of School of Computer Science and IT has been added in CUET. The registration for the courses are most likely to begin from Thursday or Friday, he added.
Under CUET, there will be 32 examination centres in Madhya Pradesh and there are 532 examination centre alone.
The pattern will also be same for the CUET as that of CET.
