CLEVELAND _ Indians ace Corey Kluber is slated to be re-evaluated at the six-week mark of his injury, which would be at some point next week.
Kluber has been rehabbing from a fractured ulna bone he sustained when he was hit by a comebacker on May 1 in Miami. He was able to take off the hard cast a few weeks ago and began using a removable splint instead.
Throughout the process, the Indians haven't had a timetable for when Kluber can return to the mound, and it won't be until next week that any clarity might be gained as the club continues to gather information on how the bone has healed.
Before going on the 10-day IL, Kluber was 2-3 with a 5.80 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 35 2/3 innings.
