Level-5 is keeping the momentum going for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road with the reveal of a free update titled “Ares & Fabled Seed.” The update expands the game’s Chronicle Mode and adds new ways to power up your favorite characters. The update is set to arrive on January 28th.
Alongside the update, Level-5 also surprised fans with the announcement of a mobile spinoff, allowing phone gamers to join in on the fun.
Ares Route, Fabled Seed, And A New Mobile Spin-Off

The Ares & Fabled Seed update is set to be one of Victory Road’s most meaningful post-launch expansions so far.
At its core is the new Ares Route, which adds another major path to Chronicle Mode, giving players more story content to explore and new teams to challenge. For veterans of the franchise, the Ares storyline is especially exciting, as it pulls inspiration from one of the franchise’s more intense eras.
One of the standout additions is the Fabled Seed system. This special item allows players to upgrade a single character into a powerful Fabled rarity, allowing players to take their characters to new heights. It’s a smart way to reward long-term play while keeping team building flexible and personal.
At the same time, Level-5 confirmed a brand-new mobile title called Inazuma Eleven: Cross. Unlike Victory Road, the mobile game is designed as a simulation experience with an original story and a new protagonist. The story is still rooted in the Inazuma Eleven universe, but this time it will feature an alternative storyline. Closed beta testing is already planned, giving mobile players an early chance to see how the series translates to phones.
It’s no surprise that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has done really well, even more than expected. Level-5 wants to continue this momentum by adding more content to the game. Previous free updates added Galaxy and LBX content, and this new drop reinforces Level-5’s commitment to supporting the game long-term.
In short, Inazuma Eleven fans have plenty to look forward to. From the Ares Route, the Fabled Seed system to a brand new mobile spinoff, Inazuma Eleven fans are not going to get bored for a while.
