The NFL offseason is in full swing now that the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl. What is next?
For the Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the NFL, there are some important dates coming up in the offseason.
Let’s go over them.
- February 20: Teams can designate franchise and transition tags.
- February 27-March 4: NFL combine
- March 5 (4 p.m. ET): Deadline to use franchise or transition tags
- March 11: Free agency begins with negotiating period
- March 13 (4 p.m. ET): New league year begins, trades can be mode, players can sign new contracts
- March 24-27: Annual league meeting
- April 15: Cardinals’ offseason program can begin
- April 25-27: 2024 NFL draft
- May 2: Deadline to exercise fifth-year option on contracts for 2021 first-round draft picks
